How do I know which version of iOS I am running on my iPhone/iPad?

The following instructions will explain how to find out which iOS version you are running on your iPhone/iPad. 

1. On the home screen of your phone, tap on the SETTINGS button.

2. On the Settings page, tap the GENERAL tab. 

3. On the General page, tap on the ABOUT tab. 

4. On the About page, look down at the VERSION number. In the example below, 8.3 is the version number.
